GTO purchase!

I currently own an 04, the 05-06 LS2 motors have been known to burn oil.
Also if you do pick one up, you must sand down the driver side FRC where the fuel line comes in. It wears the rubber fuel line down, then fuel leaks and the car blows up.

I've owned one since May 04 and still have it. I love them and they are a well built, reliable car that can be made fast! www.ls1gto.com is a great place for info.

Great cars!! The most power for the money of anything available right now. The G8 is a close second.

I'm not sure what pateshu above is referring to. The ls2 motors are fantastic. I'm not familiar with any burning oil complaints and I frequented the ls1gto.com site for years. I sold my 2006 GTO last year. Loved the car. Reliability was bulletproof for me including quite a few runs at the track. Great performance for the money.

It's hit and miss but it's something to look into.

It's definitely fun car and best bang for your buck. Headers exhaust intake with a proper tune can get you to 420-430whp and with new heads it should be 500whp without any forced induction.
I had mine for almost two years. Changed front to Monaro VZ and with all that sound it was an amazing car.
