2012 Mustang GT

I've had it for a few months already but I decided I would post it here.

I custom ordered it back in January because apparently it's impossible to find a black GT, with a Black interior with the Brembo package anywhere in the state of Ahia (Ohio). It also has 3.73 gears.

You can read my impressions here.

But over all it's a ton of fun. Now I just have to see what I can do about saving up a few grand for a winter beater - other wise its a set of Blizzaks and sand bags come winter.

I've actually heard its not too bad with Winter tires.

Looks good, hard to beat black!

Nice write up too.

Have you had any cold shifting issues with yours?

Looks good, don't **** it up by driving it around in snow and salt. Get a beater.

Agreed on the black part. I've had two other black cars and the other were crappy cars but they always got compliments - the Mustang is no different. Honestly, there isn't a time I take it out that it doesn't get a compliment, on the highway I get constant thumbs up. I can't imagine what guys who drive $100k+ cars get if a Mustang gets this much attention.

Haven't really had any cold shifting problems - but I've only had it since April. So far nothing but an oil change. I haven't done any burnouts in it yet - I'd at least like the tires to finish out the year but I have had some fun with it.

I can say the PZeros are rubbish - but typical of a OEM "performance" tire - not much grip, not good in the rain and hella expensive. $400 for worse performance than a $200 Nitto.

It's a mustang... Drive it year round, a set of blizzaks and 300lbs in the trunk and you'll have a blast.

I'm sure - with the stock 4x4 height - but naturally I want to lower it. I'll have to ask the Ford Engineers if the Boss 302 splitter doubles as a snow plow then maybe I won't need a SUV for winter.

"I added 600lbs of down force to the front with that splitter... with snow"

I have 2 friend who did just this . One coupe and one vert. BOTH are in the high 10's with stock exhaust and 3.31 gears and torque converters.
