Tesla Model S

Not sure where to post this car, but here seems to be the most suitable...

Anyone else interested in this car?

Could be a winner. Hopefuly they will strengthen their dealer network here in the US. I don't like to buy new cars with no local dealer, especially new technology like this.

Very interested, from a society/economy point of view, has been mentioned in the politics section a lot.

Well, at 50k is still cheaper than the 5 series or the GS. That's my next dd.

I'm lucky enough to have full dealer support here in Hong Kong.

I hope the range lives up to expectation. I'm getting the 300 Miles range version (highest)
This is far more than enough for more daily drive!

I've driven the Roadster, and I'm far more than happy with the power with the electric motor. That thing accelerate faster than my GTR! the feeling of driving an electric car is exact same as driving a larger/faster golf kart!

It looks great, a coworker just ordered one. I'm not so sure about buying a car of such new technology and have never seeing one in person.

Looks great, I'm still not sure about electric cars, they need more R&D and time to become mainstream.

I just saw my first Volt yesterday. I was very impressed with its presence. Very nice looking car for the mid-level sedan market. Larger than I thought and impressive fit and finish inside and out. I have read some on the Volt forum, yes they have one, and from what I read the owners love it. They get great economy from the cars.

As to Tesla they have sold out more than their first year of production and I would not doubt the quality that they can achieve. 6500+ deposits as of the latest 10Q.

My brother tells me that his local Whole Foods has the charging posts out front. Amazing progress is being made on charging also. The electric car industry is great news all-around, the economy, the environment, and national security.

Nissan has a charger for you ! Cheap at US $10,000.00 . Will recharge in 30 minutes . Runs at 480 volts. Interesting to see if that thing also will charge other cars / batteries... Just buy a diesel... and you have no problems with any of that stuff.
