What's wrong with Vette's??

Nothing wrong with the car, people just don't know how to handle torque or account for road conditions etc (not all street material is grippy). Same reason people total Vipers, can't handle the torque. I remember a guy here at our dealer bought one, totaled the car 5-10 min after leaving the dealer lol. Obviously never been in a car that powerful, and pry knew nothing about it, and was some dude that read a mag or heard about the "Viper" and wanted one.

It's really easy for a car that powerful to get away from you if you don't respect it... Even a stock c5 has enough power to overwhelm most drivers, add to that the fact that on a performance to dollar note, lots of people can afford to purchase one (especially used), and you're going to have lots of idiots driving them

For one thing it hasn't been in production for almost 2 years now, but disregarding that, you mean the "cheaper" car that has ***** slapped even the $$$$ exotics on road courses?? Obvious you've never owned let alone driven one. But I'll clue you in:
razor sharp handling - check
brutal power - check
excellent reliability - check
unique/rare - check
mod potential - need we go there?
pure raw drivers car - check
I don't know what your getting at or if your trolling. But break down your comparison, ZR1 is a tarted up Vette (nothing wrong with that), Lambo's are exotics, GT2 is for someone wanting a more powerful and wild rwd Porsche then the numb feeling regular TT. Different cars for different people, if your talking about performance... ummm need we bring up the Vipers pedigree on track whether stock or ACR verison? Viper doesn't have dozens of models and packages, it is what it, somebody either "gets" it or they don't... simple as that.
There are vids of people crashing Porsches on youtube, hell there are vids of people losing control of Civics. It all comes down to the driver mod... driver not capable of the car's power, or aware of road conditions etc.

razor sharp handling - terrible, not even ESP
brutal power -useless without grip, only for donuts
excellent reliability - yes due to lack of sophisticated electronics
unique/rare - rare is a 993 turbo s, that's a rare
mod potential - correct
pure raw drivers car - correct
Forget the ACR was made only for the Ring (and perfomed great), very strict car.
All the cars i mentioned above maybe look different but are all high performance cars and can be compared. Viper just cant keep up with them and you know it. It can be fun and enjoyable fast on straight line no doubt about that, but nothing more
