HRE Wheels | Introducing the R101 LIGHTWEIGHT - Our Newest and Lightest Wheels
We're extremely excited to introduce you to HRE's R101 Lightweight! HRE’s R101 Lightweight takes the R101 style to the next level. The R101 LW is specifically designed for individual vehicle models creating the ultimate in lightweight optimization for street and track use. Every vehicle model has a different load rating and power output, so we’ve utilized this data to redesign the R101 for each model application fine-tuning each detail of the wheel to remove weight and add stiffness where possible.

BMW M2 - F: 16.6 lbs | R: 17.2 lbs (19x9.5 / 19x10.5)
BMW M3/M4 - F: 16.7 lbs | R: 17.6 (19x9.5 / 19x11)

Thanks to our dealer Scuderia Auto Art in Sydney Australia, another R101LW wheel set has gone out to a Porsche 997 GT3! 20x9 fronts weigh 16.2lbs (7.34kg), and the rear 20x12 weighs 19.5lbs (8.84kg).

Big Thanks goes out to TAG Motorsports, for updating us with more photos and information on two sets of R101LW's they have for Porsche GT4's.
We have recently received two sets of R101LW's in GT4 fitments, finished in Brushed Dark Clear and Satin Charcoal. Both sets look absolutely stunning, with each finish accentuating a different aspect of the wheel design. Both sets have received our custom HRE lettering program, finished in yellow, to match the Carbon Ceramic Brakes present in the GT4's that these wheels are going to.
We extremely impressed with not only the weights of these wheels, but also how they are achieved. The deep pocketed grooves, strengthened design, and finish are all very rewarding to see in such an integral part of the car.
Here's our official weight of the R101LW's for the Cayman GT4:
Porsche Cayman GT4 - F: 16.4 lbs | R: 19.0 lbs (20x8.5 / 20x11)
The Satin Charcoal set is being shipped home wrapped in fresh Michelin Super Sport rubber, sized 245/35/20 and 295/30/20.
The weights are as follows: F: 40.2lbs | R: 49.4lbs
We love these wheels so much that we stand behind them. We have a set of them in Satin Bronze on our 2017 R8 and a set coming for our shop F80 M3.
