motor trend had one for long term vehicle. they were not happy with the noises it was making by 50k miles. i think they literally said that if a bmw owner would have bought the cts-v they would not have been happy with the "reliability" of the car (meaning the noises coming from suspension etc.) i am considering one due to the cheap financing and the great deals but it probably is not worht it...

a lot of it has to do with the geometry as well. Bu it's a problem for all IRS cars. They allow for a lot more movement so a hard launch shocks the rear suspension the tires basically skip along the ground.

Isn't wheel hop one of the reasons BMW won't allow the traction control to be completely disabled on the new manual M5? At least that is what C&D wrote in a comparison article. Seems like there are some degenerates out there that would launch the car hard and either be unhappy with it or break it.

Edit: ^^^ I clicked because the last date stamp was 11-15-07, I didn't realize the thread was so old.

I've got a 2006 V, Sachs perf. shocks and Hotchkis swaybars. The car goes and turns like something half its size.
