Can a built and S/C'd LS1 make 880 rwhp on 93 octane?

it would fight the detonation and allow more boost with lower octane gas
i dont know a lot on the subject but i do know a few people running it in their turbo'd cars and it does the trick

Dare I say it again. A 346ci LSX motor can make 800+rwhp on pump gas.

Methanol completely, 100 percent, kills any credibility of saying you did something on pump gas.
With your extensive firsthand experience with it, you should know that. Methanol is a FUEL. Someone that knows as much about it as you (I'm not being sarcastic here) shouldn't be spreading information around saying that those are pump gas numbers.
It has it's own optimal air fuel ratio, it's own octane rating, and the more methanol you pour into a cylinder, the higher the octane rating of the fuel blend will be - thus the more boost you can run. As I said before, this means you are no longer on pump gas. Just because you have a gas tank with a pump that is injecting 'pump gas' at the same time does not mean you are 'running pump gas'.
The cars I work on run more boost than most cars have fuel pressure. They run on full methanol. If we so desired we could put a secondary fuel cell in there to inject a certain amount of 93 octane gasoline, doesn't mean they 'run on pump gas.'
