Solid Axle Corvettes? New Guy Here

Just wondering if there are any other vintage Vettes around here. Nice site, I have a wide variety of automotive interests, but have been working on this Vette on and off since I was 15 years old in the mid 70's. Has been a lot of fun, and this spring I just finished a suspension, steering, brake project. Surprised some of the late model guys in our first drive outing, but while they were relaxing in air conditioned comfort, I was wrestling this thing thru the corners. A most enjoyabe day I must say!

And hanging with the big dogs:

Why is there always an Italian car ruining a perfectly good picture?

Don't bother... Just because I am a Porsche Tech, doesn't mean I can't appreciate America's greatest sportscar... I happen to be shopping for one right now myself.

Update on my old Vette. I ran Hoosier TD's on it for the past couple seasons, but I'm ready to swap to a set of performance street radials in order to enjoy the drive quality a little more. 15" choices are limited, pretty much between the BF Goodrich Radial T/A, and Firestone Firehawk. Anyone running one or the other of these tires, or have an alternate that is performing well? The TD's are 26.5" tall with a 9" section width. Looking in that range, that is the widest section that will fit witout rubbing the leaf springs.
