One more thing I might add is that interior has improved somewhat with the darker color and better touch screen nav/Mp3 player.

The big news is of course the 500+HP 6.4L engine for 2009 (next summer production). That should be good for easy 4.5 0-60 and near 12 sec 1/4 stock.

 

speaking of modability; sct now has tuners out there for the srt family of vehicles, so now you can put whatever mods you want on the jeep and tune the car.

I believe that tranny issue has been addressed with a reprogramm in 2007. But sporadically I still hear people complaining about it. I have not heard this issue for 2008.

I also took for a quick test drive and wasn't too impressed. Then again, I hade my wife and salesman so I couldn't get on it. It definitely felt heavy and "trucky" I am sure if you push it hard, it will haul ***.
