very nice. was it hard to retro fit the 67-68 rear into the body?

I have a 65 that is a 289 as well. Yours is probably a little more aggressive, but I really like how it came out. The pony interior is beautiful.

Have you thought about going for a shelby grille (no bars, logo on the side?) Here's mine, for the reference on the grille:

I tried several different variations of the front (Shelby, Billet, Original...) before I chose this route, I like having the fogs on the front.

About the Shelby taillight retrofit, check your PM...

Great looking fastback. I love the old fastback Mustangs and they've always been my favorite, even though I own a 67 Vert.
