Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not a split window. '63 was the only year of the split window.

Just a thought, you may want to do a leakdown test on it to makes sure all 8 holes are strong. If they are it sounds like it could be a carb adjustment for the rough idling and a timing adjustment for the shaking.

A quick check of the plugs can tell you if it's running rich or lean. Black with extra carbon is rich, light grey/white is lean. Plugs should be a dark brown. Your A/F adjustments should be screws on the side of your holley and your idle adjustment is the screw where the mechanical linkage attaches. A $50 timing light at your local parts store may do wonders too.

Beautiful car.

Now go drop it, put a LS7 in it with a 6 speed tranny, some 19" wheels, big rubber, a/c, full leather interior, and then it will be SWEET!

very hard...its in the shop now adjusting the clutch so hopefully itll be easier after

No sir, the 435 was not offered with A/C

That car is gorgeous! That is a golden age of hot rodding car and I love it, just incredible. I think I was born in the wrong era when i look at these cars!
