Anybody got some thoughts/advice/facts on V8 Vantage exhausts - Tubi/Quicksilver/factory opened - like HP vs cost vs myths ? And are the stock cats (there are 2 up before the exhaust) a 100 cell unit or more "street" like 300-400 cell ? also does the N24 actually have different exhaust and air intake ?

michael, check out the thread regarding exhausts in the db9 section of the amoc forum. Apparently, some people are having resonance problems with the qs exhaust vs the larini exhaust

 

We recently contracted wiht QS to develop and distribute systems for North America. The Vantage and DB9 systems are different as are the engine note characteristics of each car. I have the Super Sport + system on my Vantage which sounds amazing, QS also makes a slightly quieter Super Sport version, The note and volume on the + system is pretty aggressive however interior Resoncance really isnt an issue, I have some sound clips of the + system that I can E-mail if anyone is interested. Some other good points are an overall saving of 40+ lbs over the factory system and noticeable increase in mid range throttle response.

 

HZ - I would be interested in hearing your clips of the QS system. Do they do anything w/ the cats ?

We have a set of High FLow cats in development.. (3 Weeks)

The cats will part of a complete power kit (intake Cats, Exhaust, ECU)

 

what can we expect to pay for the complete power kit and gains? i'm very interested...

This car now produces 448HP and sounds very aggressive. we have 3 different sound level exhaust systems so you can tailor the sound to your taste.. The clip you hear is our loudest exhaust option with High Flow cats and remapped ECU ..

obsessed - that is the system I have on my car (HZ/RSC) - only difference is I have a slightly quieter QS version. System is working great !!!
