Supercharged AMV8

so 80BHP (not rwhp) more than the 2009 AMV8 for $25k ... not very cost effective

I do agree that $25k for a bolt-on supercharger kit is a little too much. $15k would be more reasonable.

First, your figures are wrong. Stock car has 380hp, this kit is claimed to produce 500hp, so the difference is 120hp. Second, going from 380hp to 500hp is a huge difference. A bolt-on supercharger will not give you more than a 120-150hp gain. Especially when you consider the fact that AMV8 already has a high 11.3:1 compression ration, running high levels of boost is not a very good idea on that engine.

I took part in a twin turbo challenge stradale which you obviously know has a high compression ratio and was able to extract 240hp on top of the stock hp. Stock motor.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Ali Afshar, and I'm the president of ESX (Easy Street Motorsports).
I saw that this post was linked to another post at "Pisonheads.com".
I'm excited to see so many people interested about our new ESX Super Vantage.
This car will be debuted at our ESX Aston Martin Track Day on July 1st, at California Speedway in Southern California.
please visit www.esxmotorsports.com for more information about our Aston Martin track days.
The final numbers with respect to power and pricing have not yet been determined but will be done shortly.
However, the car has proven on the dyno as well as on the streets to produce well over 540 engine Horsepower.
This will be truly a one of a kind vehicle.
We are currently in the process of setting up orders and signing up clients.
Please email me directly at ali@esxmotorsports.com for any further questions.
Thanks,
Ali Afshar

does the exhaust note change?
a supercharger kit could be the definitive factor in whether or not I buy a AM V8

I know it is hard to keep up on the forums so if anyone emails you directly, perhaps they can post the conversation so we can all keep up on the info...
Also, Ali...
Would you mind confirming your pricing?
Thanks
