New Vantage for $1500 a month
#16
So I saw an ad in the DuPont registry this month to lease a new Vantage for $1500 a month. It was something like $2500 down, 7500 miles a year, 36 month lease. It was a AM Dealer on the east coast. Sounds like a great deal, especially if the lease is transferrable. Anyone else heard of this deal?
1. did you find out if the lease is transferrable?
2. any idea what a 24th month payment will be same down and same miles?

Has anyone leased an Aston through their business? I'm just curious to see what their criteria is.

I was really thinking of a new vantage or a ZR1. I was then thinking how in a few years I'd want a newer vantage anyways. So I did think "lease" .... but 1500 a month plus 2500 down for 36 months means I'm out $56,500. In 3 years would the resale value be more than MSRP minus 56k? I think so. How are dealers anyways for trading in for a new model?
I've really wanted to pull the trigger but my common sense gets the better of me. The closest AM dealer is a 2 hour drive away. The dealer just opened a Maserati dealer 30 min from me but I don't think they would do AM warranty/service.
Plus stories of a key fob costing $1,000 is just a little outrageous. I know its a different animal, but I can get a key fob for the 100+k ZR1 for a minimal cost and even program it myself with a GM Tech II.

First the lease program ends tommorrow so if your not allready working to get approved with a dealer you will be to late. Second Aston understands that some locations might be father away from customers and provide roadside assistance and return if your over 150 miles away. Third my remotes ar also 100 dollars but we need to program it

How does the roadside assistance work? Only in the event of a breakdown - do they offer services for warranty work as well? I'd assume the return via a trailer? I wouldn't want the car driven 150 miles back to me.
Good to hear about the remote, maybe what I was reading was in regards to the DBS emotion control module fob.
What are the changes of an obtainable Vantage RS in the next few years? I'm afraid if it does ever make its way to dealer lots that the "V12 tax" would be killer.

Roadside can be like any other make dead battery tires or that the car has a warranty issue that it advisable not to be driven. We have our own transporter but dealers can hire outside venders to return the vehicle. Where do you live?

In the Milwaukee, WI area. I see a few vantages around and I've seen vantages and DB9's in the Barrington, IL area (I have property in McHenry County IL). I've seen used AM's for sale at Lambo dealers and other general exotic lots - but I'd want to make sure I have the service experiance if I needed it. The closest dealer is in Lake Bluff, IL.
Too bad I'm not closer to California or Florida ...
So I guess my struggle is if going with AM is really worth it. I have to overcome the accessibility to the dearlership and service.
