Red face What does the Vantage V8 key look like?

Just wondering. Heard it looks like a Volvo key, because Ford owns (used to own?) both. Just want it confirmed.

Yupp, Emotional Control Unit (ECU)... because you start crying when the engine purrs (or when you realize that you overpaid) LOL

Anyone know how you open it up so I can put my key through the leather strap? I am now using a key ring to hook them together. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Ohhh, just use a screw driver to properly secure the leather strap to the remote unit. Not sure if it needs a special screw driver or not, but shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Pitbull,

Is it possible that the dealership changed the batteries for you? But then why not put it back together? Not sure what the answer is...
