Flawed Logic?

Flawed Logic?
I keep veering away from the Vantage towards the DB9 (or even the DBS if a windfall arrives) for the reason of having rear seats. My baby is only 10 months old now, but soon enough she'll be old enough to ride in the back of a car sans infant seat.
Am I being unrealistic thinking that the back seat will be any use at all in hauling children?
BTW, I like the Vantage and DB9 each for different reasons. I would be equally happy with with either. For the price of the DB9 I could probably get a Vantage and an Exige S240.

I had kids in the back of my 964/996/996TT for years (incl. Roll hoop & child seat). Looks to be about the same size back there. Was very nice having those little seats for around town trips. Now the Vantage sits in the garage if kid and wife both go. For me '07 Vantage + '07 Toyota 4 Runner = DB9

Interesting - because I was thinking of using the back seats for more than just around town trips. I guess with two adults the back seat and trunk would provide enough room for some soft luggage and some small suitcases, but three people and luggage would be a no go. When we travel we tend to drive - sometimes 8-10 hours. I'm thinking my CX9 will have to remain my long drive vehicle. Makes the decision to get the Vantage easier. Plus, I've always wanted a little go cart-like car. Maybe a new Vantage and a pre-owned exige would be the way to go.
