Just wanted to pass along some useful information.

If you get the service message and have not racked up 10k or 1 year since your last dealer visit, there is an easy reset.

Ignition off

Press and hold T1/T2 and Read button.

Ignition on

Wait for Triangle to blink 3 times, then release.

Message gone

who was the genius that designed all these hold key1 + key2 for x seconds while key is in y position. LOL.

I am waiting for the triangle to start blinking and it never does. I waited for a minute is that long enough?

I have tried it both ways. I just don't get it. I just had the car at the dealer to flash the computer to add cruise control. I wonder if they changed the computer to now not allow this reset?

 

I had to try it several times before it would work, but it eventually worked.

 

I will keep trying. I have tried the reset about 6 times so far.
