You might want to think twice about messing with butterfly valve for natural aspirated engine cars because the valve's purpose is to create back pressure thus gain extra performance. As we are all aware of how easy it is to add horsepower with force induction cars via changing the exhaust, flash ECU, bigger inter cooler,...etc but it is very difficult to add horsepower on nature aspirated cars. If you are going to track the car then I wouldn't pull the fuse because you are going to loose some low end torque otherwise it would be an awesome cruiser with a mean exhaust.

Thanks to both the OP and the black cars owner my coffee is now diluted with drool.
Very nice indeed.
I have always wondered if in hot climates would that shift **** burn the bejeebers out of your hand after sitting in the heat.

a quick video for a startup, it's not much really, but I asked the kind salesman to start it up for me, it was in the middle of the showroom, and many people were around, so he excused him self that he can't rev it.. the sound was amazing..

SuperleggeraGT3 brings up a good point. Perhaps an aftermarket exhaust will help you? It has helped serve my purposes

At least you guys don't get CEL (checking engine light) for messing around the butterfly valve in the exhaust. If you do the similar mod by unplug the vacuum line in the back of all 2006+ Gallardo (including Superleggera) to bypass the valve flap, you will get a CEL and it is annoying as hell. Unless if you have a good OBD reader and can clear the codes otherwise if you ignore the CEL message, it could be other thing trigger the CEL not relating to unplugging the vacuum line so it is confusing sometimes. The sound difference is between bypassing the butterfly valve is night and days below 3,200 RPM. It really wakes your car up from being like a Toyota Prius to a monster but you might want to have a silent option when you come home late. You can also have a dealer to install a dummy switch to let you choose between silent (stock sound) mode versus monster mode. Good luck!
