Hey 6speedonliners,

I went during the weekend to a local performance driving course organized by Karner Group (my dealer), the cost of the course was included with the purchase of the car.. I had a great time.. learned so much about the car's power, and how it really handles in extreme weather situations, and how to control it in such extreme situations.. I also learned how to drift the car.. it was all fun, until the end when I lost power steering.. There was an authorised technician from the dealer present with us the whole time, he checked it, and told me there is a little part that needs to be replaced.. Thankfully this happened at the last couple of laps, which I still participated in, since with some speed, I can steer normally, it becomes a bit heavy only when I am near stopping..

I will have many nice pictures coming up in the next week or so..

For now, I have a loaner car till Wednesday.. a Mesarati Gransport LE.. I will attach a video of the car, as I parked it in the garage, you will have a chance to see other cars parked at my local garage.. nothing super, but still a bunch of nice cars..

enjoy the video..

I will be putting together a video of the event, and some pics later..

Beautiful car in a great colour.

Drove one of these on a trackday and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Can only imagine how nice it would be to take it through the Alps.

It's been a while 6speeders,

More exclusive videos coming to you from Europe..

I know it's a bit early, but the AM dealer advised me to change my tires to winter tires from now, it is 11 degrees (52 farenheit) here right now, and they said everybody will come at the same time to do that, and will be a bit hectic, so it's better to get it out of the way from now..

Well yesterday, They picked up the DBS, and gave me this loaner.. although the time for convertible had past already, I still enjoyed driving it around.. I made a little video for the car.. I hope you will enjoy it..

Later..

That's amazing service

I hope one day I get this type of service from my dealers. I think it takes many years of continuous purchases to get service like this. Again, absolutely stunning.

I don't want to jinx my luck really (touching fake wood here in my office ), but it is truly a unique experience, frankly, I haven't seen anyone do this and I bought Ferraris and Porches in the past from other dealers not in Vienna though, other countries.. nothing like this service.. what a wonderful relationship.. if you go back and look in this thread you will see my whole experience with Karner & Grossegger Group Vienna.. From the Rolls Royce trip for my Birthday, to all the loaner cars, and of course never had to lift a finger, everything is done by them, they pick up the car, drop it after finishing work on it, and bill me to my office later..

Speaking of knocking on fake wood, my mother's always looking for a piece of wood inside the Vantage when I say something outrageous. .

I think I'm a good few years in my career away from getting treated like what you described, but in the mean time I'm glad my buddy treats my car like royalty. (he doesn't treat me nearly as nice)

Last time I was at his shop he yelled at me when he was working on the brakes.
"Go climb in the car, grab the manual, and tell me the torque tension for each wheel nut!"

Quick question, since you're one of the few people I know who bought the DBS new, did they solicit you to buy the Jaeger Le-Couture? Did you buy it?

The Watch is available in a display inside the dealership, I have never had anyone talking to me about it over there, no soliciting what so ever, I even asked couple of questions about it while I was shopping for AM polo shirts, it was treated as any product in the shop..

I am a watch freak, and always go for watches that I think will go up in value, mostly Rolex cos most of them will keep the value in the long run, as for other watches, they have to be limited editions.. I really never thought of that particular watch as an investment, so I never paid attention to get it.. I would be paying 20 grad just to have another ECU but on my risk.. no thank you lol

Good job on the videos. Looks like a lot of fun. I took my Vantage to the track a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. Would like to do some of the braking and skills type things though. Just out of curiosity, how much snow do you guys get and are you planning on driving your car in the winter. Not an option for me.
