hey guys just got the following quote for 2 year extended warranty on my 07 Vantage

the amount is 3315 usd

the coverage and exclusions are below . tell me what you all think is it worth it
INTRODUCTION

Thank you for choosing Aston Martin Extended Warranty, which has been specially designed to
ensure that you get the most from your motoring with the minimum of inconvenience.
As you would expect from Aston Martin, you’ll receive a first-class service that’s always reliable with
claims handled quickly and efficiently by our team of experts.

This Warranty Document outlines how the Warranty works, the different levels of cover and the many benefits you now enjoy as an Aston Martin Extended Warranty Holder. Please ensure the Warranty Documents remain with your vehicle at all times as they must be presented to your
Servicing/Repairing Aston Martin Franchised Dealer before a claim can be accepted.

EXTENDED WARRANTY – PREMIUM

WHAT IS COVERED (EXCLUSIONS AND CONDITIONS)

In the event of a valid claim and subject to the Maximum Claims Liability and the Terms and Conditions contained in this Warranty Document, defects to all components and paintwork of
the motor vehicle, except as listed below, will be covered against the cost of parts and labour in the event of a failure.

The Company’s obligations under this Warranty being limited to repairing or replacing any parts which prove to be defective.

This Warranty does not apply to:

Body components
Body components such as strikers and hinges, which may need adjustment from time to time.

Brake facings
The renewal of brake facings due to general wear or abnormal use of the brakes.

Clutch life
The renewal of any clutch component due to incorrect adjustment, misuse or general wear and tear.

Contaminated fuel
The clearing of fuel lines, filters, injectors, pumps or any other component within the fuel delivery system including damage to components resulting from the use of incorrect or contaminated fuel.

Electrics
Radio/cassette/CD players/ telephone/satellite navigation or any other component within the
in-car entertainment system.

Glass breakage
Broken glass.

Miscellaneous
Tyres or wheel balancing, general adjustments, de-carbonation, batteries, bulbs, water ingress,
exhaust system and wiper arms and blades.

Paintwork/Bodywork
a) Where the motor vehicle has been subject to misuse or neglect
b) Wheels and other components which are not an integral part of the bodywork
c) Any part of the bodywork which has suffered accidental damage unless the damage has been
repaired to the Aston Martin specification and that Aston Martin parts have been used to effect
the said repair
d) Corrosion resulting from damage to the paintwork which is caused by, but not limited to:
stone chips, scratches, accidental damage, atmospheric pollution or the application of corrosive
materials
e) Corrosion resulting from the fitting of accessories which are not approved by Aston Martin or

where approved accessories are fitted other than in accordance with Aston Martin instructions.

Scheduled Servicing
The provision for this undertaking will not apply to normal maintenance services and the
replacement of service items including but not limited to: spark plugs, oil filters, lubricants, drive
belts and other items fitted in connection with routine servicing.
Soft trim (including convertible vehicle soft-tops)
Deterioration of soft trim and appearance items due to wear and exposure.
Maximum Claim Liability

In the event of a valid claim the maximum claim liability is unlimited in respect of each and every claim up to an aggregate maximum of the value of the vehicle at the time of purchase of the Warranty.

The Company will only pay claims costs incurred on covered components as a direct consequence of a mechanical or electrical failure of a covered component which leads to a claim made under this warranty.

Extending Cover
This Warranty can be extended subject to approval and to the Vehicle being less than five years old at the time of expiry of the current Period of Warranty.

The coverage and plan are different here in the U.S. The U.S. plan is called the "Assured Extended Service Contract" and is much more costly. It is essentially an extension of the factory warranty less the stereo and nav. I am pretty certain that this plan is now offered by AM North America where the old plan was a 3rd party company sold thru dealers. I think our coverage is about the same as yours however the cost structure is different. The 2 year extension is $5600 plus a $450 inspection fee. I am about to pull the trigger and purchase the 2 year extension for peace of mind.

Same 2 year warranty by AM Canada is $9200... Makes $5600 a bargain, especially with dollars at par

Yep, that is the info I have as well and plan to purchase next week.
