Is there a way to confirm the 2011 facelift V8V?

The British press got hold of new 2011 Aston Martin Vantage facelift info and spy photos, before the new version's unveiling later this year. The exterior styling of the 2011 Aston Martin Vantage facelift borrows a number of elements from the V12 Vantage, which will give it a more aggressive look and will also improve its aerodynamics.

As seen in a couple of 2011 Aston Martin Vantage facelift photos taken during winter, the car will have a re-designed front bumper, a new rear diffuser and a new rear spoiler. The 2011 Aston Martin Vantage facelift is expected to be lighter than the current version. If the company keeps the same power unit on the new version, this will probably result in increased performance.

AstonAficionado is infamous around these parts
I can't image that the weight savings from a mere facelift will have a significant impact on performance. Aerodynamics changes, on the other hand, could make a difference.

I think it looks more aggressive, but not better. Visually, it takes away the emphasis of the AM grill, and makes it look smaller
