Mulitiple Owners
#16
mine was a single owner car and after the 3 year lease is up he sold it, so it wasn't sold to "evade" any maintenance issues. So far car has been problem free minus a little brake pad squeal (going to replace soon anyways once I get upgraded rotors).
On a related note ... ran into another vantage before purchasing this one ... had 3 owners on record on an 06 silver vantage w/ 28k ... the car was beat to hell ... it was really a sad site. for only a few grand more got a pristine mint 1 owner car and it was WELL worth the price difference.
again this is just one specific example and shouldn't be used to generalize but for the most part, typically 1 owner cars tend to be in better shape as the original purchaser paid full price for the car and will take care of it the best IMO.
hope that helps,

I really would have felt better with one only previous owner but the reason I'm so bummed is because this one had a light interior when most others I've found in meteorite have black. This is the second vantage I've missed out on. Both cars I've been ready to buy within the last month have been sold out from underneath me. I thought we were in a bad economy?

It is a bad economy. That's why the really good deals are selling quickly. If the economy was good everyone would just order a new one from the factory at list price.

Too bad my 6.5% sales tax (no cap) is such a limitation on flipping exotic cars. I know there are creative solutions around this, but thus far I haven't persued them. At least OH has relatively low sales tax compared to CA/NY/IL rates in the big cities.
