Question 09 v8v centre console removal

Hi guys, could anybody tell me how to remove the centre console and also the instrument cluster from my 2009 v8v? I have a couple of rattles that are driving me crazy and i need to remove these bits to try and troubleshoot! Thanks in advance

You've probably seen this video on removing the center console of a DB9. It shouldn't be much different.

The 09 and up is completely different. The best solution is to download the shop manual from the Aston web site. I think it was $60 or so for unlimted access for 24 hours. Anyway when I did it the key was to pull up the rubber mat under the cup holder area and remove the allen screws under the mat. The main challange is that at the very rear part of the console (next to the rear carpet is a leather trim piece you need to use a curved tool of some sort an get under the front edge. The pull it up and remove the trim piece, and remove two more allen screws. The console come right out but you need to disconnect the power and Ipod connection plugs (no much room for your hand. The forward part of the console will then show two exposed allen screws, remove them a slide the part back and dissconnect all electric plugs. I have not pulled the remaining pieces and can not help you on those. I only went as far a required to put in a switch and wire in the ashtray to operate the (fuse 22) exhaust flaps.
