I have taken my car there for some work, belt squeal etc. They did a decent job. I take my car elsewhere for service and mods. They did like my RSC exhaust though, lol.

Same Experience

Inquired about a car they have for sale and it seems like they don't even want to try and sell the car...really odd experience.

I'm currently looking at a DB9 from a private party sale and wonder if any of you in the DC area know of any service alternatives for AM that are in Maryland. Thoughts? Haven't come across anyone who seems to service AMs on this side of the river.

Not on your side, but I would highly reccomend ECS of Virginia. Josh is top-notch, great customer service.

Last time I talked to Peiter was a few months ago and from what I understand they are moving across the street.

I didn't deal with AM, but Porsche of Tysons (Also owned by HBL) and they treated my like **** (maybe because I'm 27, but that's no excuse nor my problem)...I took my business to Porsche of Rockville and couldn't have been happier.

I don't think they're an Aston dealer anymore. Porsche is moving into their space and now the Aston website says there's no dealer in the area.

HBL has sold the Aston franchise to a group and they are going to be moving to a new location in the Tysons area. They are still handling Aston service until the new dealership opens but no sales at the moment.

Yup, just confirmed that myself today. Service is at the existing location for at least the next few months, but will move across the street when the new dealership opens. A little disconcerting as a pontial buyer, but good to know there is an option in Sterling, even if it is quite far from Rockville.

FYI - Also try AM of Tampa Bay - new owners as of last year - inventory is picking up both new and used, might have something you like.

I've spoked to the Service Represetative at Tysons, nice guy and also have heard from a guy who apparently had some role in the new dealership, apparently it will take a few months but they are ready for service, but the original Tysons location I think is where the service techs are so right now as a csutmoer I am confused also. I would go with that Tysons AM service folks say since they would now first about the transfer of sedrvice techs...

This topic is seriously timely. I just bought the new 2010 AM DB9 and my experience was less than what I would call easy.....

They are no longer an AM dealer and seemed to have lost every bit of AM information they may have at one time posessed! Completely clueless!!!!!

The car is Winchester Blue with Sandstorm/Black interior. 6-speed, sport pack, clear tail lamps, B&O..... Nicely equipped car.

First, the car is spectacular but with a few notable expceptions:

1. The 5-spoke sport wheels were replaced last June for a set of cast AM wheels. Every single ad I saw had the sport wheels and when I arrived to pick the car up did I find out it had the cast wheels..... They had no clue! I asked for current pictures of the car in my very first email inquiry and got the same pics I'd seen in ads. Subsequent requests were ignored. Feels like they wanted me to drive the 300 miles to get the car and wouldn't leave w/o it b/c the wheels were different.....

2. No manuals

3. No pen that belongs in the 4th hole in the console

4. No stone guards (per the window sticker)

5. No umbrella (even though it wasn't optioned on my car there was one in ALL the pics I saw.....)

6. Car was NOT serviced ever! I was told one the first phone call that ALL the service was up to date! Then they asked me if I'd split the cost with them??? I said h3LL no!!

7. B&O not functioning properly (warranty). They convenient didn't mention this to me at all. The service guy I've been talking to (seprately from the sales guys...) told me while I was on my way to pick the car up. I told the sales guy even though he knew, he wasn't going to tell me!!!!

8. Traction control is in-op!!!! Warranty!!!

Ultimately, I feel that in spite of their incompitence I got a great car (and a SMOKIN deal) and the warranty stuff will be fixed at Foriegn Cars in Greensboro and they have tenatively agreed to send me the pen, stone guards and umbrella. I was told the day I took the car they would have to order manuals and send them to me. Nothing yet though....

Here's a pic from a couple days ago:

Here is what I saw in the ads:

I am looking forward to enjoying this car!

^^^ nice car i saw that in the ads recently it's nicely optioned it's one of the few sport package 6 speed cars out there (like mine as well). what is b&o? What are the stone guard option.. Is that clear bra? Also what's the pen in 4th hole in the console? Are you local or out of town... If u were local I could have recommended a couple of places to take it to to get it fixed... What did u end up paying for it if u don't mind me asking? I was looking at that car among some others when I got my db9 I can give you the details on mine as well... Great looking car ... Awesome color combo you have... Very classy!
