^^^Thanks.

09+ 6-speed cars have only 3 buttons at the bottom of the console (traction control, rear fogs and parking sensors on/off) and one empty spot. SS cars have four; the fourth button is the "sport" button. Turns out there is supposed to be a pen that fits in that fourth spot. All that I've looked at since are missing the pen except one car in Chicago. The stone guards are basically black plastic mud flaps that fit behind the front wheels at the bottom of the front fenders. I live in NC and will be takinig the car to FCI in Greensboro for service/warranty work.

^^^^ nice ... Mine is 07... Is it still the same by way of buttons for the 6 speed manual cars... Maybe u can take a pic of what you mean about the 4th hole... Where the pen is supposed to go... Wondering if have the same pen and 4th hole (manual cars are so rare it's hard to compare sometimes)... Also what is B&O you mentioned that in your post before on the list of things that were wrong...

I did not have a particularly positive experience with this dealership from presales to sales to aftersales and service. The only gleaming presence are that of the two service technicians. needless to say I sold my three year old Vantage, which was ordered and purchased at this dealership because of the continued frustrations I felt in terms of service and customer care.

I am glad they have closed shop and handed over the franchise to a new company, who now has an opportunity to bring back the red carpet service Aston owners worldwide are accustomed to

Not to hijack this thread but now that AM of Tyson's is on hiatus, can anyone advise any other Aston Martin retail options in the Baltimore/DC area? I am actually not looking to buy but rather selling or putting on consignment. I am aware of Arena Motor Group in Baltimore. Any other thoughts?

In case anyone's curious, it's a 2011 V8 Vantage N420 coupe. Love the car but my life is changing (for the better, even without the Aston).

I've had some meh experience with Arena. They way overprice their cars and are pretty ****y about it. When they were in Hampstead I went to the dealership to buy a car and the car had noticeable damage under the front splitter. They never told me about it and it wasn't listed anywhere. They basically said I was crazy for thinking they should discount the car or fix it and 2 weeks later they called me asking me to buy the car (I said no).

Quick Update. I was just picking up my car from getting service and noticed that the new Aston Martin dealership has lots of cars on the lot across the street from the old! They have everything, including 2 or 3 V12V! I was quite surprised. I stopped in and said hi to Peter and the owners. I believe they are officially opening in a few weeks. Good news for us in the area and they seem very serious with the cars.

So will the new AM Tysons have some sort of open house/AM car show...or welcome AM owners in the area sort of event to kick things off? if so how can we be kept in the loop...?

yeah man...sounds good keep me posted...

John just did brake pads all around and parking brake pads, rear rotors on my DB9...I also got new Continental UHP AS tires mounted up on the sports wheels and alignment checked by them which is a good idea when doing new tires. Car drives perfect and they did a great job.

Aston Martin Washington DC

Aston Martin of Tysons Corner closed down and six successful local Metro DC Aston Martin enthusiasts bought the franchise. They have now opened Aston Martin of Washington DC located directly across the street from the previous dealership. The new franchise has been extremely successful with a large inventory of new and pre-owned Astons and also an array of other high-line cars. The new phone # is 703.712.8324 and they are located at 8550 Leesburg Pike, Vienna Virginia, on rt 7 between spring hill and tyco rd.

A.M. of Washington just took in a trade of a gorgeous Black DBS 6-speed manual trans. I had to constrain myself from handing over my credit card for that one and giving them back the Vantage.

They said 'Go on, take it for a test drive!" and I said "Are you kidding me? Last time I did that here you sold me a car."

Never drive what you cannot afford. < my mantra
