The least expensive component is shipping it over and back. The engine and all of the other sub-systems will cost God-only-knows-what. And then we have the interior and the paint job.

Can I borrow some money??

It cost around $2500 to ship mine cross-country each way, so I'd guess at least $10k round trip from LA to England...unless you have your own cargo ship or friends in the Mafia. You can borrow from them, but watch your knees.

You are correct, if I shipped from LA. No cars out here to use as a mule. They are all too nice.
I am looking at cars back east that would ship from NYC-much lower cost. Remember that I am sending over a donor, so it does not need to be crated for the trip there. Only on the way back.

Teflonv8v is infamous around these parts
1. Way better stance although Drop is pretty conservative but i wouldnt want it any lower or i may need to drive up ramps sideways like those silly vdubs. Rides more comfortable vs stock springs. Not as jarring over bumps. Less body roll and quicker turn in. No ghetto bounce.

2. Yes it will likely wear out your shocks faster. Mine is not a DD so im not too concerned.

3. Cost me $250 all in for install from my trusted indie. All 4 corners were completed in about 3hrs. Dont let anyone fool you into paying over $500. The V8V does not have a complicated suspension chasis. My M5 took longer to install springs.

I have had quotes London to New York roll on roll off for about $1500 including insurance. If it's a donor car you can always give it a coat of WD-40 before it's driven on, but it probably doesn't matter.
