Average age here

I just skimmed thru this thread and I'm very surprised as well. I got my V8V last year at 27 and thought I was exceptionally young. Apparently not young enough. Admittedly I'm impressed. Had no idea good taste was so common among us 20 somethings.

36 Now but this thread is over a year old so was 35 then. As for DB9 owners, or the pipe and slippers crowd they're called on pistonheads, that's on the younger side but I liked the car since it was launched as Gaydon's first venture! I've had several cars thru my 20s and early 30s starting with my crazy modded acura integra incollege, a pair of Saleen mustangs, a few BMW M cars, Mercedes AMG cars, and Porsches including a turbo and most recently my GT2. One of my fav over the years is my M3 CSL race car which I still have, my dodge cummins 2500HD diesel truck (heavily modified and also was my tow rig for my race car for several years) and my VW GTI 337, just an awesome fun little car!!!
I am most impressed by a guy like dick tahoe who at 75 years of age is able to feel like a kid again with his v8 vantage! That is a huge compliment to not only Aston Martin, but also to the youthful spirit of dick tahoe! I can only hope I make it to his age and if I do I hope to feel the same way... Well done my friend!

Coming into this thread, I would have thought I was on the younger side at 43. It appears, however, that I'm probably slightly on the older side of the bell curve.
I've had about 55 different cars, trucks or bikes in my life, and as my wife will attest (and much to her dismay!), I'm always on the lookout for something new and thrilling to drive.
I might look at the V12V after the V8V....but then again, maybe it would be time to go F-car.....

I hit the big 4-0 this year (had my Vantage last year) and now looking for a DBS - maybe that's getting old.
Like most of you, I've traded out tons of cars. Grew up on BMW with various M's and developed a passion racing Lotus. But the Aston brand is the most elegant.

All over the board with age.
I'm 31, buying my DB9 was one of the scariest things I have ever done. It was a lot of money, and didn't know how life would be with it. If I would hate it 3 months later or still love it. Best decision I've ever made!!! Honey if you read this.. it was the second best decision. Now I just have a hunger for more. I'd like to put a Lambo in the garage along side of it but the woman wants a Q5 or an Evoque.

Side note: my mom had an AMC pacer when my brother and I were kids in the 80's ...it was aqua blue with a white vinyl interior and a hideous cracked black dash...for some reason as a kid I loved that car it was like a giant pod moving down the road, I want to add one just like it to the stable at some point. I remember rushing home in that thing so I could watch Land of The Lost on the trusty 'ole family Zenith (we only had one TV) while eating an Elios square pizza which tasted like cardboard and fake cheeze! haha! Those were some fun memories

70 and 80s are forgivable. (just don't repeat it)
I liked the look of the concept car they did at the 09 shows. Wouldn't doubt it that its coming soon with Lambo and Bentley now coming out with SUV's

I actually like the Lagonda wedge; have a look at this and tell me it wasn't miles ahead of everything else in the 80s. Check out the CRT dash at about 2:10
Then again, maybe it's just because I'm closer to DickTahoe's end of the scale at 56
But a Pacer? The years haven't been kind to that one!

Lambo already did the SUV thing - remember the LM002? Their first 4WD model.
