I remember seeing tungsten in person on an older model. It did not have that purple hue, but it might just be the picture. Nice car though.

Umm, you do realize that you posted a link to a picture of a 1/18 scale model of a car instead of a real car right? Of course the color is going to look wrong; the scale model manufacturer is not going to use AM's real paint. Worse yet, the size of the metal flake is going to be completely disproportional. Think of it, each metal flake is going to be 18 times larger(!) relative to the size of the car than in the real world.
