Vantage stalling sometimes

A buddy of mine has an 07 Vantage auto and he's telling me that once in a while, his car will stall at a light because of low rpm at idle... i think he's taken it to the dealer but they can't figure it out... any thoughts?

I’m curious to know this as well. I have a 10 sport shift and when it’s stop/go-stop/go in reverse or 1st it will often stall.

It wasn't a single issue. The problem in my 09 (stalled 3 times in 6 months) was solved by a software update. Others had it happen more often and required different solutions. Look through the various AM forums for "stalling" and you should find a number of threads on it.

Same problem

Same issue with my 2009 db9. AM would not address. No computer codes so no problem!!!! Sold backplate the selling dealer and filed a NHTSA complaint. They just stonewalled me.

Well at least he used the search function! Lol

I agree though: searching is good. Reviving ONE old thread is good. Reviving several threads with the same response... Not so much
