Navigation update...

Well my 07 didnt come with a full set of NAV discs...so I did some research and found out that the discs from the 2006 volvo s80 work. I ordered the 2011-2012 discs, and dropped one it today....everything works just like before, but now I have the updated route/map information...

If anyone has any questions, let me know....I wonder if burned copies would work

I know that the Range Rover DVD is double layer, but I have copied that as a backup in my SUV and the burned copy works fine.

FYI, I bought a new BMW disk for my X5 and mad a copy for my wifes 740iL. The copy works fine, but I needed to try a few methods before I got it right. Sadly, I don't recall what method worked, but blank DVD's aren't costly these days, so I could figure it out again if I needed to.

I am still sitting on a a set of Volvo 07' S80 disks that DON'T work in my 08' Vantage. Does anyone have an 07' S80, 08' V70 or XC70, 09' XC60 that needs 2009 nav disks for their HDD Nav system? Cheap?

Very cool. Can I pay you to burn me a copy of the Midwest region? Curious to see if it works.

A friend of mine ordered a set of 2011-2012 DVDs directly from Navteq (for Volvo '06 XC90, which work in the '07 and '08 Vantage). On
careful checking he found out they sent him the 2010-2011 Disks. After some hassle, Navteq replaced them with the 2011-2012. You may want to check the DVD Part No. T1000-18140/18141/18142/12000. Pack No. T1000-18136, which is correct for the 2011-2012.

Anyone want to split the DVD set?

If anyone out there has purchased the 2 DVD set and lives on the East coast, I'd love to buy the West coast DVD from you. 2011-12 maps are preferred, but I'll pony up for 2010-11 if you have them.
