Exactly. You've got to step up to a pretty high level (aggressive track environment) in order to feel the slip angles on tires when they get good and hot. Then it does make a difference. I think most Aston owners are probably more offended that the front and rear tire logos don't match when looking at the car in the Starbucks parking lot moreso than slip values when running 10/10ths going into T1 at VIR.

However, into a panic stop, the braking distance may increase a little because the ABS won't function as well. It may only make a foot or two difference, but sometimes you can really use that little bit.

Agreed, although most people are in such awe of actually seeing such rare cars in person that I have yet to have a single incident of anyone ever noticing the mismatched front/rear tire logos.
