One-77 in Person
I had a chance to spend some time at FC Kerbeck in NJ with the traveling One-77 this morning. This car has been on the track at 230 MPH. It has 21K miles and has been all around the world. It is truly amazing. It's much more appealing than a Veyron in terms of proportion and style. I know the Veyron is a rocket and all of that but this car has an unbelievable attention to detail and truly amazing lines. There is carbon everywhere even in the active induction from the vents in the hood. All of the metal including the grill is brushed aluminum. Hopefully, the work and art that went in to this car will bleed into future Astons. As an aside, I did get confirmation that the V12V will be made as a roadster. I know that I refuted this a while ago but after a lot of pestering I finally got the dealer to confirm. So sorry for the refute in the previous threads.

that is one painfully sexy car. i hope i get a chance to see one sometime.
and i'm not surprised about the V12V Roadster... it was just a matter of time, and i'm sure the demand is there for the car.

Just curious, do you know how much they were asking?

Not for sale here. The US will not clear it for emissions. From what I heard, it was a promotional tour for AM in the US to test the waters for expansion. I think that AM has 1-2 left to sell. if you want it, you can show it and track it but not drive it on roads in the US. It is an unbelievable demonstration of automotive artistry. It's exactly what excites me about owning an Aston.

I'd agree that the One-77 is an amazing car but is it worth 10x V12V's??!!
My dealer in the UK confirmed that #999 and #1000 of the V12V's rolled off the production line in very early January, but wouldn't say if those were the last of the coupes.
There is apparently going to be a major announcement at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
I've also heard from another source that the Virage may be facing the axe!
