Stands to reason, if they dig into the history they might find something they'd have to tell and perhaps hurt the value..... ....so they stay uninformed as its a least costly approach.

Love your car! Mine also has the silver mesh, 6-speed, sport pack. Those are the options that sold me on it.

Thanks for all the complements guys.. ... Took her for a nice drive today, weather was good. Love the way the car cruises and then get on it in low gear and the v12 snarls and growls and transforms it from GT to sports car!

Getting some quiet ceramic low dust pads ... hopefully wont dust up the wheels nearly as much as factory pads...

She looks stunning and with the SportsPack and manual gearbox that is a rare combination......fab - you'll have to post pictures of the DB9 and the GT2 together - beauty and the beast, a great combination.

What pads did you opt for Sunir? I bought some EBC Red Stuff pads a few months back as my rears where starting to wear down but have not put them on yet. I thought I was getting quiet and low dust but have since read some worrisome things about the noise level with those (althogh I hear if I stick with them for 500-1000 miles they are a 'dream' ).

THanks guiys...

Grant That's a great idea to do combined pics...when the weather gets better I certainly will...beauty n the beast ..gotta love it! I really like the sport pack and the manual 6 spd transaxle it wakes the car up totally...and the grunt of the Aston v12 rowed by hand is awesome! The car was actually a press car too which adds to it's rarity and it had the silver mesh and screens on it w/ the clear tail lights so I'm guessing Aston put those on for the auto show purpose the car was made for. They were not options as far as I know. I'd be interested to learn more about the car's history and the numbers of press cars produced and what options they had.

Okay AC..update for ya...I drove the DB9 today, clocking another 25+ miles now have around 70 or so miles on the EBC reds...washed the car today and the brakes squeel A LOT, much more when they did when I first drove with them. As the instructions indicate I will drive them 200 miles, then do some braking excersises per specificaiton, then continue to drive regularly. They say after 500 to 1000 miles they will be silent. They have not dusted much if any at all. Since the car isn't a daily it's not soo anoying for me, but it does squeel and loudly too. Will keep you guys posted...
