2010 V8 Vantage Current Pricing
Hi Guys,
I am new to the forum and hope you can help me get into a Aston. I have been looking closely at asking prices for 2010 V8 Vantages, trying to find one with less than 10K on the clock and the Sport Pack.
What do you think the actual transaction prices are for something like this these days? I am sure there are some pricing experts here who have a ton of knowledge which would be helpful.
Thanks very much

A quick way to get an idea is to check out "autotrader.com"--search at least 300 miles from your Zip code. Also, consider a 2009 as well as 2010--not much change between these two years. Coupe or Roadster? Stick or Automatic? Look for one that's "Non-Smoker" and "Loaded". Even the Cruise control is an option on the Aston.

I find in general it's about 10k a year and 10k per 10k miles. 2011 with no miles, 120, with 10k miles, 110. So a 2010 should be around 100. I'm only looking at coupes, and this is just a general rule from ads.

I believe the 2010 have the clear tail lights as standard whereas 2009 have the red tail lights, with clear as optional. The 2010 get slightly better gas mileage at 14/20 compared with 13/19 in 2009. The 2010 has a 5 line grille whereas the 2009 has a 7 line grille.
Wait a little bit as the 2010 leases will be up soon. There aren't too many floating around and they are still $100k+. It will be in the 85-90k in a couple years.

Hey Guys,
For what it's worth I just bought a 2009 Vantage V8 with about 12,000 miles on it, no Sports Pack, tempest blue with black interior. Really a gorgeous color and great car! I got it for $79K flat.
Seem like a fair deal but I don't know for sure. Just wanted to pass this along if it might be helpful for anybody looking.

Here is a pic from yesterday. I really like the color, which has to be seen in person, it is slightly off in the photo. I will look into replacing wheels first.
Any suggestions on wheels? Which HRE look best?

Beautiful car! Congratz! I have been looking at 09's too. That is a great price you got. Rest of them seem a bit over priced. Guess I will just have to be patient...
Does tempest blue have a greenish hue? A lot of pictures I have seen makes it look green... Please elaborate.

Tempest Blue
I think the color looks like a medium gun metal blue mostly. In some lights it can seem to have a ever so slight amount of green to it, but even then it still looks blue, not green. In white light, sunlight, or unlighted shade it looks medium bluish with no green at all. YMMV.
I think that it is very hard to appreciate in a photo and it must be seen in person. It's a really gorgeous, sophisticated color, and in my view compliments the shape of the car much more than black for example.

It seems that there are many, many cars that just sit on the market for months at a time. It makes you wonder if they are for sale or not.
On the other hand there are people whose cars are really for sale and want to move them. The dealer I bought my car said that their strategy was to turn over inventory in 60 days or less.
My old Ferrari dealer in LA used to say that a car was worth what you could get for it in 60 days. Other than that it's just sort of a fishing expedition.
When I saw this car I jumped on it. Seemed to me that it was priced to move and I was ready to buy the right car at the right price.
For whatever it's worth, for anybody looking to buy one of these I suggest you get educated on the market, hang back and wait for your deal to come by. Then move fast. Anything priced at 10% or more than transaction price is probably not a 60 day seller.
