That's good to hear! AM of Troy is currently redoing my mirror covers as mine had a few rock chips in them. Unfortunately, I cannot do body/paint work and have to rely on others. Plus, you really need the proper tools to do this job right! They seemed very straight forward and knowledgeable so I gave them the work. I did make the job very easy for them as I disassembled both mirrors and just gave them the covers to paint and they stated they will be repainted to AM standards. I will post pictures once they are done so we can get an idea of their paint work.

There is another member in the Detroit area that PM'd me, maybe all of us can get together and go for a cruise next year? My wife loves the mall in your area so I could drop her off with the charge card why we talk shop (cars)! Granite City has some good beer (I think that the name).

 

Given all the discussion; Here is the extended warranty details for 4/5 and 6/7 years of coverage.....in case anyone considering does not have it.

Thanks! Reading that, I might have been willing to plunk down $4k for the premium, but most certainly not the plus... hopefully the timing chain cover oil leak has already been taken care of!

 

Check hope at the door. Locate the documentation to back it up.

 

Thanks Yankee - an AM dealer is doing the PPI and were more than familiar with the leak when I asked them to check for it or records of it being repaired. Hope has been checked and stowed away

 

any word on your ppi yet?
