I agree, it has that 70's Musclecar offset going on. But I love the actual look of the wheels

Also,
what are the weights of the wheels for both 19s & 20s. Wheel weight is very important.
Other then that, they are one of the most gorgeous wheels I have seen on an aston, its very hard to make wheels look good on astons, not easy to match the character of the car. These wheels do a great job of that.

Hi Oscar - I called you yesterday about these wheels. I'm probably going to buy a set for my Vantage but as we discussed, I want to make SURE we get the offsets correct and sizes as I don't want the wheel protruding from the fenderwell as the ESM car does.
So we change the wheel in the back from 10.5" to 10" and change the offset from 45mm to 42 mm in the rear, to make sure the center cap will fit on the car without spacers and the wheel will stay within the fender. Can you double check all that and then verify the recommended tire sizes for a staggered wheel set up at 20" with no lowering of the car?
Once you can do that, I'm ready to pull the trigger and buy direct or through a recommended dealer that can offer a wheel and tire package. Let's be SURE the wheel doesn't protrude out like the ESM car, however.
Thanks.

You actually want to run a HIGHER offset to bring the wheel in. You need to be running a 48-49mm w/ 10" wheel to get the look you are going for. My Rennens were 49mm offset at 10.5" and they were almost perfect fit. I believe HRE official is also 49mm rear as well.
42mm will make it stick out more, not less. And if you are going from 10.5" to 10" thats 12mm total reduction, 6mm on the outside, so if you are going to 42mm offset, you are actually only bringing the wheel in 3mm, you won't even notice that, it will still look bad. You ideally want to bring the wheel in about 10mm for a better look. To achieve that from 45mm you should run 49mm w/ 10", that will effectively bring in the wheel 10mm (4mm offset + 6mm outer half of wheel reduction).
49mm on 10" is the proper size (same recommendation as per HRE as well). You could run 49mm on 10.5" as well for an even more aggressive look. Stock offset is ~52mm front 61.5mm rear. So compared to stock wheels, 49mm will run half inch wider @ 10" and an additional 12.5mm coming out to about 17.5mm further outward than the stock ones (which is pretty close to the 15mm spacers that most people run in rears). At 42mm wheels would be equivalent to over 25mm spacers, way too much.
Just saying, as I went through this entire debacle for almost a year....
EDIT: Just read off their specs 45mm is the highest they run ... its doable at 10" width.

the wheels are slightly heavier than stock, but not by too much. However, you could greatly offset this by running a set of Michelin Pilot Super sports instead of RE050s, which are roughly 3-4lbs lighter per tire (at the furthest outer edge where it counts the most). Overall, the wheel & tire combo would still be lighter than stock. I would recommend if you run them, get the pilot super sports. The wheels are gorgeous, so they are worth it. I would recommend getting the 19s just to get better tire availability and ride quality IMO

Price .... Just checked their website:
Only $370 each Fronts, $390 Rear. That is VERY VERY reasonable... wow this has to be the #1 wheel for the vantages as far as bang per buck. so basically $1600 for the full set.
BUY BUY BUY haha

Good info 007. So the hot licks is 10" wide, 49mm on the rear? And what about the fronts...9" x 45mm? Thinking of doing 20" for a little more wheel well fill, but I know exactly what you're saying about ride quality. Will have to think about that one a bit. Oscar tells me these wheels are in their CA facility as blanks and they can machine them or make them up to fit.
I have to say though, that they seem to not really know fitments well on the Astons and my impression is you best figure them out yourself and place the order as you see fit or else switch to another wheel maker.
The 22"'s shown here on the forum (the one with the Mansory body kit) are for sale very reasonably on Fleabay right now, but I think 22's on a Vantage is too much and riding on 25 series rubber bands is not my idea of a good time.
Definitely Michelin Super Sports - I'm a big fan of their tires and had them on my Porsche.
