V8V aftermarket exhaust switch

With the installation of RSC 200 cell catalysts (highly recommended), I'll be installing an exhaust bypass switch, allowing me to get out of the neighborhood with the exhaust valves closed. Some of you have already installed switches to create either a N.O./N.C. condition, so I'm looking for some advice.

What kind of switch would you recommend, and where would you recommend installing it? I'd love to have a pushbutton style to the left of the starter button, but messing up the bite-the-back-of-your-hand beauty of the Vantage interior makes that a nonstarter. I'm looking for something easily accessible on the fly, but sufficiently tucked away for the sake of discretion.

Bonus points for low quality photos.

I mounted a switch that fit right where the cigarette lighter would sit in the ashtray. I just open the lid and press when necessary. I wired the switch to ground and when selected it provide ground to a relay in the boot which when grounded provides power to fuse 22. When switch is the other position ground is not provided therefore no power to fuse 22 and the exhaust is loud. By using ground there is no power being brought to switch and no risk of a short. Cost was about $15 for relay, switch and relay plug

You don't need to modify your interior. You can get a wireless remote switch that is operated by a small fob that you can keep in the drink holder of the car. See the thread below:

Here's what I bought and installed and it's all you need. The switch module gets installed back by the little fuse box on the right side of the boot. You should install little spade lugs (radio shack) on the two wires that plug in to replace the fuse. Then one wire goes to +12V and the Black wire goes to ground. As KarlFranz mentioned, you can program two buttons on your home link (as I did) to operate the Relay.
