Do you know if I can connect also my iPhone to the bluetooth of the car?
I know that the standard is 1.0 and our new devices don't work on it.
Is there a tip for this matter?

I've haven't had any real issues with pairing to astons with iPhones..BlackBerry and the old moto razr were are only real issues. U know the V8V 2007 model is only voice activated commands right?

 

Pairing was tricky but worked, tap before not paired window pops up (iPhone 5)

 

So you confirm to me that your iPhone runs good with voice Bluetooth of AM my2007?

I have had my 3Gs and 4s paired to AMV8

 

Pairing was tricky. I had to tap the aston martin connection right before or just as it was connecting to get the code input screen on the phone up, then it was fine. It does work pretty well. Google maps will use the blue tooth for audible through sound system.

 

Just to be sure, your trying to pair via the voice commands and the button on the steering wheel..correct?

Was just checking..I get an endless amount of clients that just purchase a used 06-08 and can't pair there phone but don't realize it's done by voice command..

 

Really dumb question guys, sorry. But where is the voice command button on the steering wheel? I am trying to pay an iphone to a clients 2008 Vantage. Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

Yes, use the steering wheel buttons and with your voice commands to pair the phone and dial. They are generic commanded like "Pair",or "Dial Number"..etc.

That picture is not a steering wheel from the 06-08 model, the telephone buttons on the 09MY+ are different.

The 06-08MY have a different "end call" button.

The "end call" in your picture of a 09MY+ would be a different symbol for the voice command button for the 08MY.

Also, the 08MY "end call" button would be on the left side of switch pack.

Ok, that would mean you are after VIN ending 07649..yes? If so, then you have the 09MY Bluetooth module, so no voice command pairing, it's through the radio.

Press PHONE on center stack radio buttons, after 20 seconds it'll time out the search of the last phone and give you option to Add Phone, if no other phone was ever paired, it'll give give you the option to Add Phone, you press ENTER and Enter again to search, it'll give you a list of available phones, use the tuning dial to move up/down the menu and press Enter on desired phone.
