I have a '13 V8V and have read conflicting posts about if the ASM2 needs to have the relearn procedure done or not. Those that say it does say that when you start it the N starts flashing until it is completed. Mine never blinks the N on start up with A/C on or off, but I do hear a click after a while. Any experts that can weigh in on the subject?

 

Sounds u have a early release software in your TCU, get the latest software update for ur TCU(transmission control unit) by ur local dealer..should solve your concern...btw the clutch learn should always be performed at the first drive of the day and before any long drives...it will not learn after a short pause if shut down(go into depanneur store and back out to car)..

 

Would be interested in hearing about this. My N does not blink either.

 

Irish07, my car is brand new just delivered a month ago from the factory so it should have the latest upgrades I would think...
