Carbon Fiber.... Questions...
Does anyone know the ratio of the carbon fiber that Aston Martin uses to make their interior parts?
It seems the carbon fiber of the ski slope is satin, as opposed to gloss. Is this true.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Going to try my hand during the winter at laminating a few parts.
Thanks in advance!

I don't know what kind they use but I'm pretty sure there are two different kinds - the normal stuff and the stuff the Q program uses (which is dry carbon, if I remember correctly).
Are you planning to create actual carbon pieces, or do you just want the carbon look? If you just want the look, I'd recommend getting a spare set of trim pieces (from a wrecked car, maybe) and doing carbon fiber vinyl wrap. I've got some 3M Di-Noc that has an awesome satin sheen to it. It isn't glossy at all, but it isn't quite matte, either. Here's a really bad pic of it:
For pics that don't suck, google "3M Di-Noc" and look at the image results.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to see how you go about it!
