If anyone is interested in some pix...
I had a conference in Lexington KY, and on the way back made a couple hour detour to drive the Tail of the Dragon. First time I've done it, and it was awesome! In the V8V, it felt a little like a roller coaster, but one that went on for 20 minutes. If you haven't done it, there are tents on the side of the road where guys take pictures and post them. Some are not bad...

The AM would be a handful on deals gap, I did it in my elise (very fun) and dozens and dozens of times on various Ducati bikes (much much more fun!). Another road that's really nice up there is the cherohala skyway, it's about 50 miles of mostly open sweepers.
I will say tho, road for road, overall the roads up around Dahlonega and Helen N. Georgia are as good. 348(richard russell), hwy 60, hwy 129, you can't pick bad roads there!
We should get an AM rally up in N. Georgia sometime, certainly the Atl astons can make it, maybe some other guys?? How bout that?

ZVEZ: thanks for those suggestions on the other roads in our vicinity. I'm going to have to give them a shot! Killboy was a little behind the other guys in loading his pix on line, but he has them now. Here they are:
