V8V Lug Nuts

V8V Lug Nuts
What lugnuts are you guys running on aftermarket wheels? I've got a set of wheels I'm interested in getting but the OEM lug nuts are two wide to fit... 1-3/8" (35mm) wide. The space in the wheels for the lug nuts is ~28mm.
What size lug nuts do I need? 14x2.0 or 14x1.5? And does anyone make any that are thin enough to fit in a 28mm space?

Just got off the phone with Phil at Otis, very very helpful and knowledgeable guy. They have two sets of lugs in 14x2.0, one made by RAD (German) and the other by Otis (Italian), but the RAD lug nuts aren't long enough. Plus, they're only $30 for the set, which is nice lol. Not sure how pretty they'll be, but as long as they work I'll be happy until I can get something nicer if I'm not happy with them.
Mid-post update: The wheels I was going to get are made for 12mm lugs and we've got 14mm. The manufacturer said it'd be perfectly fine to have the lug holes drilled out to fit 14mm lugs. But finding a machine shop able to do that is proving difficult.

Not telling you something you already know, but I'm pretty sure the studs are from ford f150. Maybe look at truck sources also. Maybe check mustang specs, maybe they use the same, and you could find more options.
Additionally, the wheels are maybe made for 12mm lugs, but they allow space for a socket. So, you may still be able to use the 14mm lug, with a thin wall socket. Just get high quality, for the torque involved. I'm doing this exact thing on my track wheels (2 different wheels) to keep from having to use different lugs

Tikore makes lug nuts for the Raptor but they're titanium (yay!) and cost several hundred bucks (boo!).
It's also feasible to get spacers with 12mm lugs built in (I'm currently running 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers, so that isn't a problem). However, it adds to the cost and I'm trying to get wheels in an offset that eliminates the need for spacers.
I'm waiting to hear back from a machine shop about the cost of boring out the 12mm hoes to 14mm.
*sigh* decisions decisions! Nothing's ever simple on these cars :/

Thanks guys! I was really hoping to pick up a set of wheels that are completely different than what everyone else tends to do. Seems like the vast majority of people pick up HREs, and everyone else gets a couple of the other brands that are out there. Ace longer makes that 'turbine' wheel that drcollie had in 19", which is what I want. Forgestar is on my short list based on cost and style. But I really wanted to pick up a set of JDM-ish wheels (don't laugh). It's sort of an homage to how I got into cars, plus NOBODY is running them. Well, turns out nobody is running them because there aren't any that fit our hub/lug setup!! I'm waiting to hear back from Ray's about brake caliper clearance for a wheel I really like, but that wheel will require the lug holes be bored out to fit 14mm lugs (they're made for 12mm). Ray's ensured me that it's perfectly safe to do so long as the boring is done properly.
Does anyone have the caliper diagrams for our brakes? I found diagrams for the Brembo Family P GTR caliper (which appears to be the basis of our calipers) but it'd be nice to have the actual Aston-specific diagrams.

I've been tempted to do that, too... Ron said there was another set still available at Galpin for a good price, sooo tempting. I'm being a bit stubborn just for the sake of being different, though lol

jump on the galpin ones before I do!
But hell, the HRE and similar wheels are as much if not more than sport pack, the added fact that you know they'll fit. My thought is to get them painted anthracite to match the center caps.

I'm selling my black 20" HRE P43SC wheels; decided they really weren't for me. They are in excellent condition and I'll let'em go for a really good price (PM for details).
8.5 x 40 mm and 11.0 x 39 mm
Custom machined aluminum wheel caps are available as an extra, otherwise they come with the stock HRE caps. AM OEM caps don't fit, but the stock lug nuts do.
