Hi all,

I have a 2007 V8V. The driver window works just fine, but the back end of it is loose. It drops back slightly to the point that it rubs on the rest window behind it when the door is closed. When I close the drivers door, I literally grab the back of the drivers door window and lift it. It moves about 2-3 inches, then I close the door and its fine.

Any ideas what could be wrong? Presumably, I have to take the door apart to find out, but Im hoping someone might have ideas on what to look for.

Loose mounting at window to regulator or broken. Need to have panel removed to inspect. T-25 bit and torque is minimal, do not overly torque it! If Torx screw is missing you need an OEM one. I would take it to the dealer.

That's what it was. It's pretty easy to take the panel off. The screw on the bracket was gone and I couldn't find it in the bottom of the door. Strange. I just bought one at Lowes. It's an M6-16 for future reference. All is good now!
