2014 RapideS interior panel gaps
as i went on another Extended drive today to break in my rapide s, i was experiencing some whistling noise emanating from the passengers side window (LHD car).
i stopped the car to check all the rubber insulation. nothing to be found. i checke all the exterior Panel gaps and they all look perfect.
then upon inspecting from the interior, i noticed great discrepancies in the Panels of front and rear doors between Drivers and passengers side.
where a certain gap would almost fit a whole finger, the corresponding gap on the other side would be much tighter. this i noticed around all the panlels of the front and rear doors on the interior.
does this go down as 'Hand built' ?
i am new to aston, and this rapide s is my first. i love the car and truly enjoy driving it. but those gaps made me scratch my head a Little.
car was delivered to me totally new 2 months ago and all esle is great except for the rough cold idle that the dealer promised to fix.
i have never seen such discrepancies in the gaps in any of my german cars, be it bmw's, amg's or Porsche.
to the bare naked eye, they would not be noticeable, but to a car nut they are all there and very obvious.
