alternate source for Volvo backup camera module

Folks,

It appears that VolvoTech.eu is no longer in business ;-(
Any ideas on alternate source for the backup camera kit (other than the Aston Martin part which appears to be a rebranded version of what VolvoTech.eu sold)?

Thanks!
- Paul

i went with a video rear view mirror and bypassed the whole Aston set up. have front and rear cameras and never have to turn on the POS nav system. it's instantaneous and the screen is closer to your eye and in the natural position you look at in the rear view mirror...

video rear view mirror

That's really cool! Did you happen to have the model number of the mirror you used / instructions?
Also - I see that your mirror doesn't have the HomeLink controls?

I posted a pdf set of instructions... I'll see I'd I can find them again...

you can get a video screen mirror with the Home link... it's just more money...i don't use the home link function as I use Wifi garage door controller and my In car Alexa. Honestly not a fan of mirror mounted Home link controls...

I also control the front and rear camera images with a small remote control mounted on the door... all removable, all looks stock...

I did not opt to control front camera with the built in sensors because I didn't want to cut into the car's wiring...I think it's c easy to accomplish with a simple aftermarket ultrasonic sensor that's independent of the car's built in system...a simple remote switch I turn on works well for me...

Rear cam comes on automatically and instantly...

I saw no need to use car play or android auto with the built in screen because the screen location, resolution and fact that's its not touch screen makes car play or android auto a waste.

No need to remove the rear bumper. You do need to remove the trunk (boot) lining.

I was able to fish the cable up through the gap between the bumper and into the rear trunk.

Thanks - I should have mentioned that I have a Vantage - is that your model?. Did you install the OEM style rear camera between the license plate lights? The one I have requires drilling - which is fine for me...but I really need to be able to thread a nut on the threaded light stalk that pushes through the drilled hole in order to secure it. I was hoping to somehow pull the license plate bulbs and use the recess on each side of the camera to do it.

I just saw your posts regarding making a custom mount - neat! I was able to fish a coat hangar between the bumper and body as you suggested - thank you! I am going to avoid taking the bumper off by drilling a smaller - tight hole and then use 3M tape. It should be enough...if not the bumper will need to come off.
