PPI recommendations in Montreal for Aston Martin
I'm considering a 07 V8 coupe, 6spd in Montreal (Paul Motor Company). Looks flawless in the photos and the clutch was replaced around 39,000 miles in 2014. It now had 42,500miles. A US car that was imported to Canada a while back. Has a clean CarFax and I have some paperwork on the clutch and other repairs (thermostat). They say in 2016 it had a service inspection and there were no issues. Since I am in NorCal it would be great to have an independent verification on the work and condition of the car. Any recommendations are appreciated.
Oh, if you know of any other 07-08 V8 coupes, 6 spd with Titanium Silver / Obsidian Black or Chancellor Red interior for sale, I'm very interested. Thanks

Welcome to the forum!
Just so you're aware, you have *literally* the best Aston Martin Master Technician in North America there in Montreal. Aston Martin themselves said so. He visits the forum occasionally, goes by Irish07 on here, and is the best resource on planet Earth for Aston owners.

Yup, take it to Decarie. Chris (Irish007) probably knows all the history on the car off the top of his head.

What's the best way to contact Chris -- no response yet from his Irish007 account. Are there any other folks to talk to as well. Like to get something set up for next week. FYI, I am in California so having a knowledgeable person check out the car is appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hey bud! Best way to get a hold of me is a PM.. Gets hard for me to strain through the board. Yah we can handle it, we've delt with PMC in the past, it's a local indie Exotic Dealer, it's about 2-3 blocks from us. You can call George Kontogonis, he's our main advisor for Aston Martin Montreal (Hub of Decarie Motors)..direct line 1-514-340-8837. He'll be on lunch in a few mins, if anything just leave a msg..I'll notify him as well. Or you can email him GeorgeKontogonis@decarie.com

Did you move forward with the purchase from Paul Motor Company? I am working with them now on a C63AMG 507 Edition and want to know if they are trustworthy before completing the transaction. Thanks for any insight you may have!

hi -- In the end I decided not to purchase. PMC were good/easy to work with (no pressure) and I had IRISH07 do a PPI. I would recommend the PPI regardless to get all the facts that PMC may not even be fully aware of. I decided that some of the work that was needed and further information on the previous owners modifications made this not what I was looking for. Hope this helps with your decision.
