Redpants airbox delete or Velocity AP

Can anyone share their experiences with each of these airbox delete filter options for the V8V? Rich has mentioned that the filter just stays as a pressure fit, but is not hard mounted so results in less vibration and has never had an issue with separation. The Velocity solution looks more rigid and clamped in place, but I can't determine what filter options are available with that setup I would like to go with a dry filter, but interested in others experiences with dry vs oiled.

Both make/sell quality products. My car is a mismatch of both!

For air box delete I have red pants which was the first available. Have not had any issues. They look great and function as advertised!

I have the redpants deletes on my dbs, while they installed easily in the spring, I just had a look at them last week when replacing my parking light bulb that has gone out....they are starting to bow a little bit and also starting to crack at some of the mounting points. Coupled with the fact that the redpants filter isn’t clamped has me a bit worried. Considering going with Velocity ap now (although I too would prefer a dry filter which they don’t offer, however I’m sure the oiled one will be fine) unless Rich has some input.
