LT4 in a V8 Vantage

Whatever your feelings on engine swaps. This is entertaining. I like the comment that the Americans would like a turbo sticking from the hood

I am amazed how easy it was to fit that LT4 engine on the sub frame... and with stock LT4 long tube headers at that... I will be watching this channel

We had two Chevy transplanted Porsche 928's - its a cheap way to add power and reliability. If the original donor car had a bad engine it makes sense, but not if the original engine is in good shape.

sliderule01 is infamous around these parts
Surprisingly I would have thought a Ford V8 swap would have been easier

Having the camshaft in the block makes the LS/LT engine much lower than the modern Ford engines.

Ah but the distributor on the front of the Ford would be easier than the Chevy with the distributor on the back.
Something like a 347 ci. from Keith Craft cam is in the block. Anyway it sure looks to be fun.
