14 Vanquish Battery
Need to replace the battery in a 14 Vanquish 2+0.
I accessed the battery compartment and additional panels will
need to be removed to pull the battery out.
What panels need to be removed, and how are they removed.
thanks

Well that was a chore. Took about an hour and a half or so, probably quicker if I had to do it again. My 15 V12 Vantage was way easier, that took 10 mins. These are the panels that will need to be removed in order to access the battery and remove it without doing any sort of damage to the interior or electrics. Panels were either velcro or screws. I wonder if this would of been easier if it was a 2+2....

I only remove the 2 parts on top left of your parts pic. The L shaped trim and metal surround don't need to be removed. The battery is held in place by that black U-shaped bracket at back of battery; remove the 2 bolts on that U-bracket and slide that bracket upwards, battery will then come out.

Hi, I have a 2014 Vanquish with a dead battery. Today I tried removing the seat cushion. It lifts up but I could not pull it out. I was afraid I would damage something by forcing it. Are there clips or screws in the back of the cushion?
Thanks,
Nick
Thanks,
Nick

Remove the T30 holding the lower cushion, now you should be able to lift out the lower cushion.

The alarm will not sounds off unless you arm the vehicle and decide then to remove the battery. Nonetheless, don't lock the doors and you won't have any issues with the alarm activating.
