I have the same car and same issue with timing cover oil leak

JR, Thank you so much for sharing. Valuable tips on the whole process. I also have the 2006 DB9 Volante. Sure enough, same timing cover oil leak with only 18,000 miles. Top of engine is super clean but bottom is all gunned up. Dealer quoted over 5K. Will try your route.

Can the front crank seal be changed workout removal of the cover?

Great work. It serves AM right for such a high price for service. If they would charge less for parts people might take their car’s to a dealer for service.
